Sensoji Temple is a Buddhist temple with a history of over 1,300 years. The “Nakamise Street” leading to the Temple is the oldest shopping street in Japan. Koganeyu, which has been in business for 90 years as public bathhouses, known as Sento, was newly renovated. Now it’s complete with a craft beer taproom by the entrance that doubles as a DJ booth. Mt. Fuji mural in the bathing area was painted by artist Yoriko Hoshi. There are three different temperatures baths ranging from lukewarm to hot, and there is also an open-air cold plunge pool for those wanting to cool down after sitting in the sauna.
